I've had the demo version of this game since March (I think) and I want to get an S2 license. But the only question I have is whether or not I have to pay for it more than once. Is it like a normal video game where I buy it from the store and then I have it forever or do I have to pay every time a new patch comes out, like a subscription? I just want to be sure so that I don't end up putting a couple hundred down for this, instead of just $50.
Most of the race setup I use (I only really drive the FOX) have the tyre pressures maxed out (or close to it). The tyres warm up within a lap or 2 anyway, so that's not an issue, but you really need the high pressures to get the required life from the tyre (for a 1.25 hour race). Of coarse, the handling is sharper with higher pressures too.
Wow! Excellent work Victor! I never thought an application like this would be made available online. The automatic RAF creation is a fantastic addition too.
One thing that I would love to see added is a time graph though. This is the graph I find most useful in LRA as it enables you to quickly see where on the track you are loosing time.
I noticed in the screenshots in the second post that you can see the track outline in grey in the driving line pane. I've got the pth files in the LRA/smx folder but I've never seen these track outlines and I'd really like to get them working. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Edit: Actually it does work on the machine I have LFS installed on, so please ignore!
Yeah, you've got a good chance James. I reckon Kringle will round out the top 3 championship-wise, though some of those guys from the FPR team are fast enough to win the championship if they turn up regularly.
I'll be there too, driving the FOX in the GFC again. With define moving to the F08, the old midfield may become the front-runners and I think it'll be a very close championship. Looking forward to racing you all again, and hope to see some new faces too.
Finally got my G15 yesterday and was able to try this out. Absoultely brilliant as I had hoped! Haven't tried out the race mode yet, but it will be really handy to have the times to the car infront/behind. Excellent add-on, thanks
I noticed not many people have self-registered on NextRace for this weekend's GFC race. I was wondering if you could make it so that anyone can register other people on the tracker?
