Considering S2 License

I've had the demo version of this game since March (I think) and I want to get an S2 license. But the only question I have is whether or not I have to pay for it more than once. Is it like a normal video game where I buy it from the store and then I have it forever or do I have to pay every time a new patch comes out, like a subscription? I just want to be sure so that I don't end up putting a couple hundred down for this, instead of just $50.

I'm not sure but I had a race at BL1R at the weekend andI noticed it seemed to throw up yellow flags when it shouldn't have.

Not lies. I said I couldn't find it, not that it wasn't there .

But thanks I didn't realise there were so many.

Thanks, but I couldn't find a track list for the Singe Seater 1 there.

Is there a track list anywhere for this server? If not can anyone tell me which tracks are rotating at the moment? I just want to get some setups and a bit of practice in before I go online again.

+1 for the time graph. This is the graph I use the most in LRA, very useful to quickly see where you are gaiuning/loosing time.

Quote from afiqmeister :Sorry to ask. I'm a beginner here. After downloading, which folder do you put this sound into so that I will be able to hear it?

Just put it in the same folder as you have unzipped the ShiftBuzz program into.
Quote from Stiggie :It's too bad the sound keeps on being the same loudness, for example when you drive away from the camera at full revs.. it still is as loud as when you are at 300 M's away from the camera

Yes, it is a very crude program really. It is only meant as a reminder to change gear while you're in cockpit view.

Gekkibi - thanks for tech support again

Most of the race setup I use (I only really drive the FOX) have the tyre pressures maxed out (or close to it). The tyres warm up within a lap or 2 anyway, so that's not an issue, but you really need the high pressures to get the required life from the tyre (for a 1.25 hour race). Of coarse, the handling is sharper with higher pressures too.

Noticed you're using 105% FF strength GF, will have to give that a go. I think mine's only set to 70% - need to work on my biceps :eclipsee_

Also, I noticed that R2s have lower rolling resistance to R1s so the difference between R1s and R2s in their peak condition can be very small.

No, you can enter at any time. We've got race 3 of Season 3 today, so you're just in time for that.

To enter, visit the forum at

http://gentlefoot.com//LFS/forum/index.php

Have a read of the rules, sign up and a look through the previous judicial videos and decisions. Then send Gentlefoot a PM telling him your LFS username and which series (GFC or GTTC) you want to enter.

Look forward to seeing you on track

Wow! Excellent work Victor! I never thought an application like this would be made available online. The automatic RAF creation is a fantastic addition too.

One thing that I would love to see added is a time graph though. This is the graph I find most useful in LRA as it enables you to quickly see where on the track you are loosing time.

Good review on the Logitech GT wheel. By far the best SRT review so far, much more critical and indepth. Keep it up!

I noticed in the screenshots in the second post that you can see the track outline in grey in the driving line pane. I've got the pth files in the LRA/smx folder but I've never seen these track outlines and I'd really like to get them working. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Edit: Actually it does work on the machine I have LFS installed on, so please ignore!

Looks really smart! Much tidier inside than mine too, using a board with rails looks like a good idea.

Maybe a hardware problem then. Have you tested your hardware using XP? Anyone else tried GI with Vista?
